Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they’ve held up beautifully. The laces are intact, and the leather hasn’t stretched. Thanks to the vintage look, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.

How do they compare to other sneakers?

These are the best sneakers I own. I love my Vejas and Tretorns, but Golden Goose are just on another level. They include a built-in arch bump that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is unique. And the shine on mine? Next-level.

Would you buy again?

Yes! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They’re not cheap, so getting them discounted is smarter. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. Mine have pink glitter, but a minimalist version would also go with everything.

They felt good right away. I recommend wearing no-shows, especially since they reduce sweat. High-end Italian leather construction, so it’s much more easy than breaking in synthetic materials. Bonus, they’re already softened so your feet just get comfortable fast.
